synopsis:
Yukito Kunisaki is on a journey, seeking a girl with wings who flies in the sky, as mentioned in a childhood tale. During this journey, he settles down in a small town, trying to make some money. There, he meets a strange girl named Misuzu. Misuzu quickly makes Yukito her friend and invites him to stay with her. Yukito decides to stay in the small town, and continue searching for the winged girl his mother had searched for in her life.

A beautiful story, like the synopsis said, the story may sound simple but the process of the anime is nicely done. This is a very sad story so i would not recommend to people who like happy and cheerful type of show.
ART:10/10
although it was air during 2006, the art is actually better then some of the anime being air now. It have a style that suit the story and the sound were ok

the opening n ending of AIR was great, but some of the background music is also nicely done, but you would really notice it as you will be too engross in the anime, and most of the time the BGM is too soft which the conversation between the characters cover the BGM
Overall:9/10
i would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a romance story like this.
this might be a little boring to people who want to see action, but there are times when there is some funny scene which ease the serious tension. they also show links on how is this all connected to the girl with wings, unlike some anime which show the connection between the story and the topic poorly.
